Former Monroe-Woodbury football coach gets 6 months behind bars in sex case

A former Monroe-Woodbury High School football coach accused of sending indecent photos to a minor was sentenced on Friday to six months behind bars.

Justin Kaffenberger, 24, was arrested last year on allegations that he sent photos of his genitalia, chest and face to an underage student while asking for sex. He was sentenced to six months in jail and five years' probation.

The Monroe-Woodbury School District said last year that Kaffenberger, a district graduate, was extensively vetted before he was hired.
