Garnerville man arrested for threatening police and their families

A Rockland man has been arrested after being accused of threatening Orangetown police and their families.

Daniel Rupel, 39, was busted yesterday at the Rockland Motel in Garnerville.

Officials say he left threats against Orangetown police officers and their families on social media and over voicemail.

Rupel now faces several charges.
