FBI recovers weapons during raid on Elmsford homePosted: Updated:
Federal agents raided a home in Elmsford Thursday and recovered a cache of weapons.
FBI agents and Greenburgh police stormed into 56 South Stone Ave. around 5 a.m.
Agents could be seen removing rifles and shotguns from the house. They also brought out boxes of evidence, and the homeowner's Honda Pilot SUV was towed away.
The FBI has not released any details or the names of the homeowners. It appears the homeowners were not home during the raid, but their dog could be heard barking during the raid.
Neighbors tell News 12 one of the homeowners is a mechanic and that they moved into the neighborhood about 10 years ago. They say they are nice, quiet people and that nothing seemed out of the ordinary with them.
