Posted: Updated:

Dozens of firefighters converged on an apartment building in Port Chester Friday morning to put out a two-alarm fire.

Fire officials say the fire broke out around 7 a.m. in a third-floor unit. At least one window in the unit appeared to be blown out.

More than 150 people live in the building and were temporarily evacuated as firefighters dealt with the flames.

Officials say the firefighters were able to contain the flames to the unit where the fire sparked.

Authorities say there were no injuries from the incident.
