Wallkill NASCAR driver pleads guilty to traffic violation; possession charge dismissedPosted: Updated:
NASCAR driver and Wallkill native Tyler Dippel returned to town court Wednesday and pleaded guilty to a vehicle and traffic violation, his attorney says.
Dippel's misdemeanor charge of criminal possession of a controlled substance was dismissed.
Dippel's attorney says his client looks forward to returning to racing.
He was suspended by NASCAR following his arrest earlier this month, but was reinstated Thursday.
