For the first time in three decades, the 39th Senate District in Orange County has a new office in Newburgh.
Sen. James Skoufis (D) moved into his new office space at 47 Grand St. this week, relocating from New Windsor where his longtime predecessor, Bill Larkin, had the district office for years.
Skoufis says the move is not only a more convenient location for constituents, it's also a win for Newburgh. "Everyone has convenient access to see me and my team, and have a support system and assistance. But we're also now part of the revitalization of the city of Newburgh, which is so important to me."
Skoufis shares the office with Assemblyman Jonathan Jacobson who represents the 104th District.
