Firefighters in Orange County rescued a kitten trapped with its head stuck in a dumpster.

The Warwick Volunteer Fire Department posted photos on its Facebook page, and says Capt. Joe Ingui found the kitty in distress while walking his dog.

Firefighters using a strong arm rescue tool were able to free the kitten and turned it over to the Warwick Humane Society.

The Humane Society says it is hopeful the kitten will make a full recovery and be able to go up for adoption in a few weeks.
