Posted: Updated:

The Hudson Valley caught a break as some severe weather missed the region, but showers could still be in store for the remainder of the day.

News 12 meteorologists say the area could see scattered showers that still have a possibility of being heavy through midnight tonight, but they would be few and far between.

The bulk of a stormfront that had News 12 meteorologists concerned on Monday ended up moving to the south and east of the region.

For Wednesday, most of the day is expected to be dry, but a passing shower is possible. Skies will be mostly cloudy with highs in the low-80s.
