HARRIMAN -

A debris spill has been cleared and the northbound New York State Thruway has reopened in Rockland County.

State Police closed down the highway between exits 15A and 16 in Harriman due to a spill in Sloatsburg earlier this morning.

They say a garbage hauler's construction debris fell onto the highway just before 5 a.m. today.

No one was hurt.

All northbound traffic was being diverted to Route 17 into Orange County.
