Monday's powerful summer storms brought flooding, downed trees and power outages across Long Island.
Trees brought down by heavy winds made for a treacherous commute in places like Wantagh and Manorville.
Video sent to News 12 by viewers showed drivers in Lynbrook and Ronkonkoma struggling to make their way through flooding.
In Mineola, multiple cars were stuck in flooding underneath the LIRR tracks. 
There have also been reports of homes damaged by lightning.

A viewer video shows a home struck in Bellmore.
So far, downed power lines have been confirmed as the cause of one fire at a home in Hicksville.
News 12's Erin Colton reports that some spots saw more than 2.5 inches of rain.
At the height of the storm, nearly 30,000 customers were without power.
