Water main break closes road in Greenburgh

GREENBURGH -

A water main break caused traffic issues in Greenburgh this morning, according to police

Crews say the break happened in the area of Old Army Road and White Oak Lane, near the entrance to Edgemont High School, around 3:30 a.m.

White Oak Lane was shut down for a couple of hours this morning so repairs could be made.

A town water and sewer official says just a couple of homes are still experiencing some low water pressure.  That official says the age of the estimated 50-year-old pipes could be to blame for the incident.
