Police warn Clarkstown residents of bear sightings

CLARKSTOWN -

Police in Clarkstown are sending out a warning this morning after a bear was spotted in the area and attacked a chicken coup.

Police say the bear killed one chicken.

They say the bear was been roaming around the Buttermilk Falls Trail area.

Officials are warning residents not to leave out garbage. They say people should not approach the bear or attempt to feed it.
