Rockland County man charged with attempted murder after fire

A Rockland County man has been charged with attempted murder after police say he intentionally started a house fire.

Officials responded to a fire on Jay Street in Spring Valley last Friday.

They say at the time there were around 12 people in the home including two children.

Luckily, everyone made it out safe.

Hector Munoz-Zuleta, 39, is now facing charges. The motive for the crime has not been released yet.
