NEW ROCHELLE -

Police have released new surveillance video of a suspect accused of fatally stabbing a New Rochelle man outside of a Manhattan bodega.

The owner of Dykman KwikStop, 28-year-old Mohamed Awawdah, was stabbed and killed Wednesday night.

Police say he told a group of young men to stop loitering outside the family-owned bodega, which then escalated into an argument before he was stabbed.

The Bodega Association says it's calling on the police to patrol the areas around bodegas more frequently.

A $2,500 reward is being offered for anyone that has information. Customers tell News 12 Awawdah was soon to become a new father, as his wife is seven months pregnant.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
