WOODBURY - It's a great time for new adventures! News 12 Long Island's Elizabeth Hashagen and Elisa DiStefano have your summer bucket list to make the most out of the season on Long Island. 
In Suffolk County, start at Adventureland in Farmingdale where they have many classic and new rides.
If water rides is your thing, visit Splish Splash in Calverton.
 
If you're looking for an animal adventure, there's the Long Island Game Farm in Manorville.
If you're over 21, there's a peddling party with Brew Crew Cycles in Riverhead.
But if you rather relax while you taste, there's the Montauk Brewing Company or the Greenport Harbor Brewing Company.
While in Greeport, you can stop and eat at Claudio's or visit the family friendly Antique Carousel.
An East End must for your Instagram feed - flowers! Be sure to mark your calendar to catch them in full bloom, at Lavender by the Bay in early July. And for the sunflowers, they can typically be captured for two short weeks in August.

This time of year, there's also a lot to do in Nassau County!
You can sail into the season aboard the Christeen in Oyster Bay.
If you're a seafood fan, check out the row of restaurants at Freeport's Nautical Mile.
 
And while people pack the sand during the day at Jones Beach, you can also catch a concert under the stars at Northwell Health at Jones Beach Theater.
In Long Beach, you can stroll the boardwalk, or grab a surfboard and be ready to ride the waves.
For a thrill in the air, I.FLY Trapeze offers lessons in Long Beach or Eisenhower Park.
When it comes to art, the Nassau County Museum of Art has outside installations in its sculpture garden.
 
For a bike ride, or family hike, Trail View State Park extends from Cold Spring Harbor State Park to Bethpage State Park.
