CROTON-ON-HUDSON -

Thousands of people attended the Clearwater Festival at Croton Point Park on Sunday to celebrate environmental research.

Since the 1960s, the Clearwater Festival has grown into the country’s largest annual environmental celebration.

Numerous retail and food vendors, educational programs and musical performers were at the event.

The proceeds of the festival go toward supporting environmental research and education, with a special emphasis on keeping the Hudson River clean.
