STAMFORD -

A bridge replacement project not far from the Westchester border could hinder travel to Connecticut this weekend.

Police are urging anyone planning on driving to the Constitution State to avoid I-95, which will be shut down at Exit 9 in both directions.

Officials say construction will continue through Monday at 5 a.m. and then begin again the following weekend with the same schedule.
