The alleged leader of MS-13's East Coast operations has rejected a plea deal that would have given him 15 years behind bars.
Miguel Angel Corea Diaz will now go to trial in Nassau County.
He previously pleaded not guilty to drug trafficking and conspiracy.
Diaz also faces federal racketeering charges in Maryland.
If convicted, Diaz faces life in prison.
