A listeria outbreak linked to deli products has been reported in four states, including New Jersey.
According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the infections have also been reported in New York, Pennsylvania and Michigan.
At least eight people across the U.S. have been hospitalized. One person has died, according to officials. The CDC says the people who became sick ate all different kinds of deli products, including meats and cheese.
Investigators say listeria has been identified in samples taken from several stores, but have not yet said who supplied the deli products involved.
Symptoms of the infection include muscle aches, diarrhea, fever, headache, confusion, and convulsions.
More information about the situation can be found on the CDC's website.
