Hazmat crews and other emergency responders closed a Yonkers street Saturday to investigate an fatal overdose incident that occurred Friday.
Police say the incident involved three men who overdosed on an unknown substance that may have contained fentanyl. One of the overdose victims died.
Shonnard Place between Park and Palisade avenue was closed out of an abundance of precaution. Details surrounding the investigation were not immediately clear.
Sources told News 12 that a substance was found inside a car outside the Fourth Precinct, which triggered the response. Police officials did not confirm that information.
