Yonkers woman accused of shooting husband faces judgePosted: Updated:
A Yonkers woman charged in the shooting of her husband was back in court Friday.
Investigators say Sloan Fleckman-Finn, 44, shot her husband in the stomach inside their apartment and then called police to report the shooting on March 20.
When officers arrived at their apartment at 14 Bronxville Glen Drive, they found Eric Finn, 46, with a single gunshot wound to his abdomen. Finn was taken to a trauma center in serious but stable condition.
Detectives say four handguns were recovered from the apartment. There were no other people inside the apartment at the time of the incident, and no other injuries were reported.
Fleckman-Finn has been charged with first-degree assault.
The alleged motive is unclear, and today her lawyer said it's too soon to talk about it.
“It's ongoing investigation and we can’t talk about the case at this time, as much as we want...we are waiting on the DA to finish their investigation,” says defense attorney John Pappalardo.
