Officials: Parkland shooting survivor commits suicide; second in past few days

Another student who survived last year's shooting massacre that left 17 people dead at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Florida has committed suicide.
The student is the second Parkland survivor to do so in the past few days.
Parents in the community got together over the weekend for a meeting.
They say what's important during these hard times is coming together.
"We're trying to put together a very simple response,” says Ryan Petty, father of the Parkland victim. “Get the word out. Help parents. And understand the risks and then get them the information they need to assess whether or not their student's at risk or their child's at risk and then get to the help that they need."
