Huntington 10-year-old climbs to 'American Ninja Warrior Junior' semifinals

Like many 10-year-olds, David Futeran loves high-flying moves. But unlike most kids his age, the Huntington native got to show his stuff in front of millions of people -- and his story isn't over.
Weeks before David turned 10, he competed on "American Ninja Warrior Junior," one of the most popular family shows around.
To get on the show, David had to send a submission tape of his abilities; easy for him since he's been hooked on the show for years.
David puts in more than 10 hours a week of gymnastics practice, and he does climbing practice as well. He's undefeated on the show and is moving on to the semifinals.
The only thing David needs to work on now is handling his newfound fame. His Instagram page is blowing up and he's flocked by classmates in school.
The semifinals air April 6 on Universal Kids.
