Holtsville man's attempted kidnapping conviction vacated
An attempted kidnapping conviction for a Holtsville landscaper has been vacated by a state appellate court.
Officials say Glenn Terry was convicted in 2016 in a bizarre plot to kidnap his attorney, Frank Tinari.
The appeals court has ruled that there wasn't enough evidence to convict Terry initially.
Terry’s other convictions on various weapons charges were left intact.
The decision cuts Terry’s 30-year sentence in half.
