Police: 15-year-old shot man in head, wounded another

A teenager has been charged with attempted murder after a shooting in Poughkeepsie, according to police.

Authorities say the 15-year-old boy shot a 28-year-old man in the head Monday afternoon just blocks from Poughkeepsie High School, near South Cherry and Church streets.

The victim remains in critical condition.

A 41-year-old man, who happened to be walking by, was also shot in the leg but is expected to be OK.

The teen is being held without bail.
