Police: Teen charged with DWI after hitting patrol vehicle in New City

NEW CITY -

A Nanuet teenager is accused of striking a sheriff's patrol vehicle while driving drunk, according to police.

The alleged incident happened on Main Street in New City early Thursday morning.

Police say Marissa Ann Goldin drove through a red light and slammed into a marked Rockland County Sheriff's SUV.

The patrol officer was injured and taken to a hospital.

The 19-year-old has been charged with DWI.
