Police say a man from Paterson was found dead inside a mixing machine at an upstate New York cheese company.

The incident happened back on Jan. 15 at ICCO Cheese Co. on 1 Olympic Drive in Orangeburg.

According to paramedics, Edwin Nunez, 41, was found around 10:30 a.m. in a mixing machine at his work station.

Nunez was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police say the Orangeburg factory has no cameras inside, and it’s unclear how he ended up in the machine.

The incident appears to be accidental.
