VALHALLA -

A mini-bus accident in Valhalla  sent two students and a monitor to the hospital this morning.

Mount Pleasant police say the accident happened around 7:25 a.m. The mini-bus was headed west on Grasslands Road, by the east entrance to Westchester Community College, when it hit a patch of ice and lost control. The bus struck a pole and skidded down a hill, before stopping.

The injuries to the students were minor, while the monitor suffered a broken leg. They were taken to Westchester Medical Center.

It’s not known where the bus was headed, but police said the students were teenagers.
