Police: Drunk driver hits 3 pedestrians, resists arrest in Pearl River

PEARL RIVER -

A New Jersey man is under arrest at the Orange County jail after hitting three people while allegedly driving drunk in Pearl River, police say.

Officials say that 41-year-old John Connors was on Ridge Street and West Jefferson Avenue early Thursday morning when he allegedly drove his car into three pedestrians.

They say Connors resisted arrest and even threatened an officer.

News 12 is told that the driver is due back in court next week.
