With only several hours left to go until Christmas Day, some of New Jersey’s procrastinators had to get creative to get their last-minute Christmas gifts for loved ones.
While many New Jerseyans crowded the state’s malls this weekend doing their last-minute shopping, others were not so lucky and had to race to the nearest retail outlet on Christmas Eve – the Edison Rite Aid.
News 12 New Jersey’s Brian Donohue ran into several people inside the drug store looking for last-minute gifts and stocking stuffers.
One shopper realized that he did not have any gift labels, but was luckily able to find them at the Rite Aid. Donohue also ran into a nurse who was buying some reindeer antlers for her co-workers to making working on Christmas Day more festive for patients. Other shoppers were looking at the row of gift cards inside the store.
But no matter where the gifts were purchased, many agreed that it was the thought that counted.
