Bridgeport students depart Bullard-Havens after winning ‘Hamilton' tickets
Buses packed full of Bridgeport students headed to the state capital Thursday to see the award-winning show “Hamilton" after their school won tickets in a lottery.
The students won the tickets after their 10th-grade English teacher at Bullard-Havens Technical High School entered her class on a whim.
Tickets for the show start at $200, but students are only paying $10.
The students left early Thursday morning to see the show at the Bushnell Theater.
