Student injured in Pearl River school bus crash

PEARL RIVER -

A school bus crashed in Pearl River this morning.

Orangetown police say the bus collided head-on with a car at the intersection of Route 304 and West Washington Avenue around 7:30 a.m.

The bus was carrying eight students from Albertus Magnus High School in Bardonia.

One student suffered a minor injury to her chin and was taken to Nyack Hospital. The bus driver and the driver of the car were also injured and taken to hospitals to be evaluated.
Some students on the bus were released to parents while others continued on to school.
