8 new cases of salmonella from raw turkey confirmed in New Jersey

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention have confirmed eight new cases of salmonella from raw turkey in New Jersey.
In total, 74 new cases of salmonella have been confirmed.
The outbreak started last November, and since then, one person has died in California.
According to health officials, the outbreak could be widespread.
Symptoms of salmonella infection include nausea, fever and stomach cramps.
