Over 200 veterans honored at Clarkstown breakfast

The Third Annual Veterans Day Breakfast in Clarkstown welcomed vets and their families from all over the area today.
Veterans from wars decades old that have not been forgotten shared tables with younger veterans whose wars are not yet over.
There were over 200 members, past and present, of our armed forces surrounded by their loved ones and members of the community who wanted to say thank you. "There's a camaraderie that takes place among vets that transcends generations as well. You could have World War II vets that are connecting with
Vietnam vets; Vietnam Vets that are connecting with Gulf War Vets and it's an important commonality that vets have that's unique," says Clarkstown Town Supervisor George Hoehmann.
