Mail worker arrested after allegedly dumping mail in the woods in Somers

Officials have released the name of the man arrested in connection to the mail that was found dumped in the woods in Westchester.

Authorities say postal employee Stephen Harris is facing multiple charges including misconduct.

As News 12 has reported, several bins of mail were found in the woods in Somers.

Harris has since been fired from his job as a carrier assistant.

He is due back in court next month.
