Authorities say a pipe bomb was discovered in the mailbox of George Soros’ multimillion-dollar estate in Bedford.
Authorities say an employee at Soros' estate on Cantitoe Street discovered the pipe bomb Monday afternoon inside a package in his mailbox and called police.
Soros was not home at the time.

The liberal philanthropist, who has often supported Democratic candidates, has previously been the target of right-wing conspiracy theorists.
Bedford police responded to Soros' home immediately after getting a 911 call.
"We do train for this type of incident. Officers responded as trained, set up a perimeter and call proper investigative authorities for a threat of this nature,” says Bedford Police Department Chief Melvin Padilla.
Investigators are reportedly reviewing surveillance video to determine whether the package was sent through the mail or delivered another way. They are also looking at whether the package was addressed to Soros.
Bedford Town Supervisor Chris Burdick says he is thankful that no one was hurt.
A spokeswoman for George Soros' foundation is urging politicians to "tone down their rhetoric," and find a more civil way to discuss political differences.
