Officials say three former nursing home employees have been convicted in the death of an 81-year-old grandmother.
The two nurses and an aide were found guilty of violating public health laws, but were cleared of more serious charges, including criminally negligent homicide.
They were accused of ignoring her ventilator alarm for nine minutes at Holly Patterson Nursing Home in Uniondale in 2015.
One woman, Martine Jorland, was also convicted of a felony, falsifying business records.
