Officials have still not released the names of two of the three people who died in a plane crash off Long Island over the weekend.

They say that Raj Persaud died in the crash that took off from Oxford-Waterbury Airport Saturday. Persaud was in his 40s and owned Oxford Flight Training at the airport.

Officials say Persaud owned the twin-engine Piper PA-34 and was on board the plane, but they haven't confirmed who was flying the plane.

There has been no confirmation yet from Danbury Airport that Persaud made a stop there after leaving Oxford to pick up two people.

Danbury says he applied for a permit to open a flight training school there but never pursued it.

Persaud's daughter says her father was passionate about flying.

"He knew the dangers. Whenever he heard about a plane that crashed, it hurt him as an instructor. He knew it was a chance, but it never stopped him from teaching people how to fly,” said his daughter, Mary Persaud.

The National Transportation Safety Board and the Federal Aviation Administration are investigating.
