A group aims to get more students registered to vote at the Pace University campus in Pleasantville.
The deadline to register for the midterm elections in New York is Friday.
The initial goal of the group Center for Community Action and Research was to register 100 people.  As of Thursday night, it had registered 184 voters.
The goal now is to register 200 students by Friday.
"We ask our students frequently, ‘Would you let your grandparents pick your clothes out for you?’” says Tyler Kalahar, of the Center for Community Action and Research at Pace University. "Why are you letting your grandparents pick out your elected officials?"
Registration can be done in person, online or through the mail.
