HPV vaccine now available to older men and women

More women and men can now receive the human papillomavirus (HPV) vaccine.
FDA officials now say Gardasil 9 can be given to individuals 27-45 years old.
Experts say the vaccine prevents certain types of cancers and diseases caused by the nine different types of HPV.
The original vaccine known simply as Gardasil had only been approved for people ages 9 to 26.
