A Cortland man has been arrested for drug possession, but only after officials say he crashed into two police cars.

Police say Charles Leonard struck two state police units during a traffic stop and was taken into custody.

When investigators say they did a search, they found nearly 30 grams of cocaine on him.

Officers say when they searched Leonard’s house, they found about 30 more grams of cocaine and a loaded gun.

Leonard is now held in Westchester County Jail without bail.
