Officials: Pennsylvania man stole money from Westchester businesses

NEW ROCHELLE -

A man is facing charges after police say he stole from several businesses in Westchester.

Officials say Kareem Johnakin, of Pennsylvania, and another man broke into five food markets and restaurants in New Rochelle and Yonkers in the spring and summer of 2017.

Johnakin has been charged with burglary and grand larceny. 

His co-defendant will be arraigned next month.
