Mitchells of Westport held a party to celebrate its 60th anniversary.

The Post Road East location is now run by the third generation of the family, the grandchildren of founders Ed and Norma Mitchell.

The celebration also served as a showcase for the store’s recent renovations and expansion.

The store’s co-CEO Bob Mitchell said, “My grandparents started with three suits and a dream and we're now expanded to 8 stores across the country so we feel blessed and hopefully we can continue to give back because they're what have helped us to be successful after all these years.”

Mitchells also has a location in Greenwich which will be renovated next year.
