A tree trimmer from Newburgh was killed in while working in Cornwall-on-Hudson after accidentally clipping an electric line, officials say.
John Nuzzolo, 39, was electrocuted while performing tree-removal work outside of a home on Maple Road, near Mountain Road.
Central Hudson Gas & Electric had to be called in to shut off the power so that rescue crews could safely remove Nuzzolo from the bucket truck.
No one else was injured.
The incident is under investigation.
