Driver charged with possessing crack cocaine after accident

A driver, traveling with a young child, was arrested Monday for causing an accident and possessing crack cocaine.

County police say a Jeep driven by Jessica Molina, 41, of Eastchester, ended up in the Bronx River after it hit an another vehicle north of the Sprain Parkway split.

They  say Molina suffered a fractured arm. A 3-year-old child in her vehicle was not hurt.

However, police say they found a small quantity of crack cocaine in the SUV.

Molina is charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance.

According to police, the woman in the other vehicle was hospitalized with non-life threatening injuries.
