Yonkers family desperate to find missing teen

YONKERS -

A family in Yonkers is desperate to find their teenage daughter who has been missing for nearly a week.

Family members say 17-year-old Karime Guachun hasn't been seen since she left her parents' apartment on Sadore Lane last Tuesday.

Police believe the recent Gorton High School graduate is with her boyfriend, 17-year-old Gustavo Dimas Ambrosio.

Ambrosio lived with his mother in the same apartment building as Guachun, but family members say he moved out two days after she went missing.

The Guachun family says Ambrosio was expelled from Roosevelt High School last semester after allegedly calling in an bomb threat.

Family members say that on the day she went missing, Guachun used her debit card to withdraw $1,400 from various ATMs in her Yonkers neighborhood.

They say Guachun had registered for summer classes at the College of Westchester in White Plains, but didn’t attend classes.

Family members say the missing teen has a cellphone, but is not answering it and appears to have turned off a tracking device
