Weather: Chance of scattered showers Sunday

WHITE PLAINS -

Numerous showers and thunderstorms are expected through Sunday morning, according to News 12 meteorologists.

Slow-moving storms could mean potential flooding. A flash flood watch is in effect through Sunday morning. Urban areas with poor drainage will likely be most impacted by heavy rain.

Sunday morning will see drier weather but mostly cloudy skies. Temperatures will be in the low-80s.

There will be a chance of scattered showers and thunderstorms again by Sunday afternoon.

The wet weather is expected to continue throughout the work week with potential thunderstorms for Monday through Wednesday.
