Central Nyack man accused of raping a child

CENTRAL NYACK -

A Central Nyack man is behind bars today and accused of rape.

Police say Hector Chacon-Diaz allegedly raped an 11-year-old multiple times between 2015 and 2016.

Officials say the victim is related to the suspect.

The 31-year-old has been arraigned and bail is set at $50,000.

Chacon-Diaz has been taken to Rockland County Jail where he will remain until his court date on Aug 6.
