YORKTOWN -

A fox suspected of several attacks in Yorktown may have rabies, according to authorities.

In one incident, the fox bit a jogger over the weekend on Lee Boulevard. Attacks struck two other victims in their backyards in the same area.

All three are undergoing preventative medical treatment for rabies.

Authorities say residents should keep trash well sealed and to watch their children and pets when outdoors.
