Pepperidge Farm recalls some Goldfish crackers for salmonella risk

Pepperidge Farm says it is voluntarily recalling some Goldfish cracker products due to a potential salmonella risk.
The company says it was notified by one of its ingredient suppliers that whey powder used in seasoning for four varieties of crackers has been the subject of a recall.
Pepperidge Farm says it is voluntarily recalling four varieties of Goldfish crackers "out of an abundance of caution."
The affected varieties are Flavor Blasted Xtra Cheddar, Flavor Blasted Sour Cream & Onion, Goldfish Baked with Whole Grain Xtra Cheddar and Goldfish Mix Xtra Cheddar + Pretzel. The crackers were sold in various different sizes and packaging.
Consumers who have purchased these products should not eat them. Recalled products should be discarded or may be returned to the place of purchase for a full refund.
